Wes Jarrell
Wes was introduced to yoga in 2001 when he was 19 years old. He turned to ashtanga yoga in 2005. Before that he practiced hatha yoga influenced by the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. Wes brings unique insight to the classroom from years of solitary, vigorous practice and self-study, and often mixes personal insight with close attention to asana anatomy. He believes yoga is a powerful way to expose one's deep inner and outer beauty, and hopes to inspire students to practice with discipline and to look inward fearlessly.
Wes has workshopped with David Williams, Doug Swenson, and Ana Forrest. He holds a minor in Philosophy from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
