I have been practicing and studying yoga for nine years. I first came to yoga through my work experience as a nurse in the Ornish Heart Disease Reversal Program at CAMC. After providing assistance to the program’s Stress Management Specialist for several years, the opportunity for me to take this teaching role presented itself. I have been teaching the Ornish-Basic Hatha for Stress Management for the past two years and received my 200 Hour YTT from the Om Seva School of Yoga in June 2010. Past workshop teachers include Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Matt Sanford and Nischala Joy Devi. I consider it a privilege and honor to share my knowledge of yoga. Through my experience as a teacher and in my personal practice, I have witnessed and experienced the transformation yoga practice creates in the mind, body and spirit. My passion for teaching is to meet students where they are and empower them to open their hearts to managing their health and well being through a daily practice of yoga.
