In 2001, Sue received a yoga workbook as a gift, started moving through postures in the comfort of home, and developed a simple twenty minute practice. A year later when life tilted into realms of grief and sorrow, Sue drew on these simple postures and focused breathing to enter unfamiliar inner landscapes of life. Experiencing the profound benefits of yoga, Sue attended several weeklong programs at Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, MA. (Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation, Frank Boccio; Insight Meditation & Yoga, Larry Rosenberg & Matthew Daniell; Aging Gracefully with Yoga, Sudha Carolyn Lundeen). In 2007 Sue became certified as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher after completing a program of 200-hours of intensive training. Sue is also a certified Kripalu Yoga Dance Teacher. In 2012, Sue completed the 500 hour Kripalu Professional Yoga Teacher Training.
