As Director of Om Seva School of Yoga, April will be the primary instructor and facilitator of the training process, teaching hatha yoga and methodology, as well as leading the exploration of the transition from yoga student and practitioner to yoga instructor.
Having studied medicine at Marshall University as well as receiving his 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, Asit is well-suited to offer educated guidance in applying anatomy basics to the practice of hatha yoga. His easy-going nature and yogic approach to the science promise to offer students an accessible path to understanding the basics of teaching asana safely and effectively.
As a student of Kriya Yoga, Ryan studied under and was ordained by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda. Ryan has lectured and taught throughout West Virginia and beyond, and now offers his services to the Asheville, NC community. Always accessible and eager to share the fruits of his personal studies and journeys, Ryan promises to be a true asset to Om Seva's training program.
